Public Safety Chaplains are trained First Responder Chaplains that serve Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS and Dispatch agencies in the Public Safety arena. As they focus on serving the First Responders and their families, they will also assist First Responders at various scenes. This service includes; death notifications and assistance with community members that have just experienced a traumatic incident. Chaplains also ride along with First Responders when they are able to. The first priority of the Public Safety Chaplains are the First Responders they serve.
Qualified, Public Safety Chaplain, candidates have to be endorsed and ordained/licensed by there church where they are serving. We look for at least 5 years of leadership with a local church in our service area. Public Safety Chaplains also have to pass an extensive background and reference check.
